Alaska’s ‘Sex Trafficking’ Law Changed The Meaning Of The Word And Now Hurts Those It Is Supposed To Protect – Latest

Decriminalizing prostitution is a complex issue for me for this very reason. In many countries where the sex industry is now legal young girls and women are not in fact any safer. The very notion of human trafficking almost guarantees that abuses are going to be made by those seeking to make a profit off of sex workers. The most shameful thing of the sex industry is the simple fact that traffickers are not being punished at all instead the victims are bearing the brunt of the punishment .This is something that needs to change. It is however I believe the time to do away with the term “Child Prostitute” because children are seldom if ever “willing participants” in the field of “sex work” and it is not a child’s fault if they have been trafficked.
